EXERCISE: Monitor Your Energetic State

By becoming an observer of your energetic flow, you can gain insight into your triggers while you learn to better balance your emotions and manage your thoughts. As you witness your reactions and levels, you can adjust your thoughts and actions accordingly. Try to monitor yourself as if you are hooked up to an electrocardiogram (EKC) machine that informs your vital signs. Imagine the machine beeping when your pulse dips above or below your neutral state. What takes you there? What thoughts or reactions feed into it? Take notice of your responses to things, your emotional spikes and lows, and any erratic prompts. Witness in what situations or with whom you feel like you are a tire with a slow leak, or where/with whom you hold blocks, fears or pains. Start to work this as a habit throughout the day. It is recommended that you write or record your observations each day.
